Job Description:
AECOM is seeking a Digital & Engineering Technology Intern I to be based in Murray, Utah with an expected start date of July 2025.
The internship offers hands-on experience in engineering, design, and infrastructure projects. Interns work with technology, learn best practices, and collaborate with experienced professionals. The program focuses on technical and professional skill development.
Responsibilities:
• Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills.
• Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.
Qualifications:
• Minimum Requirements:
• Pursuing an Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology or related field with at least one year of study completed. Candidates who have graduated with an Associate’s degree and plan to continue with the Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Graduates must have been enrolled in their Associate’s degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and time-management skills.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to explore new subject matters (civil, structural, roadway engineering, etc.).
• Experience working in a consulting environment, balancing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in the software development industry.
Additional Information:
• Relocation assistance is not available.
• This position requires a hybrid work schedule in Murray, Utah.
• The expected hourly range is $16.00/hour – $22.00/hour.
