Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Digital & Engineering Technology Intern I to be based in Murray, Utah, starting in July 2025.
Responsibilities:
This internship is designed to introduce and build hands-on skills that enhance the transition from student to professional. Interns are assigned duties to provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
• Gaining hands-on experience in engineering, design, and infrastructure projects.
• Working with cutting-edge technology.
• Learning industry best practices.
• Collaborating with experienced professionals.
• Contributing to projects that help shape communities and the built environment.
Qualifications:
• Minimum Requirements:
• Candidates must be pursuing an Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology or related field and must have completed at least one year of study. Candidates who have graduated with an Associate’s degree and plan to continue with the Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Graduates must have been enrolled in their Associate’s degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.
• Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and time-management skills.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to explore new subject matters (civil, structural, roadway engineering, etc.)
• Experience working in a consulting environment, balancing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in the software development industry.
Additional Information:
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
• This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in Murray, Utah. The selected candidate must be available to work in Murray, Utah on a scheduled basis.
• The expected compensation range is $16.00/hour – $22.00/hour.
