Job Description: Digital Aviation Solutions Intern

This internship is offered by Boeing Global Services Digital Aviation Solutions (Jeppesen APAC) in Singapore. The team is focused on addressing new and evolving aviation software industries through groundbreaking innovative ideas.

Software topics include:

• Sustainable Aviation
• Airport Operations
• Air Traffic Management (ATM) Optimization
• Future of Aircraft (UAV/PAV)

Responsibilities:

• Contribute by writing your Master/Bachelor thesis on a variety of topics, either proposed by yourself or in collaboration with Boeing researchers.
• Work in an interdisciplinary environment, located in the Singapore Office (Odeon Towers, 331 North Bridge Road) and connected with stakeholders worldwide.
• Collaborate with other labs, researchers, and customers across the globe.

Project/Thesis Cycle:

• This opening is only for incoming final year students or those planning to work on their thesis as part of their graduation criteria.
• The program is rolling, with consistent hiring demand.
• Please include your planned project thesis period and your Final Year Project/Bachelor/Master thesis proposal in your application/resume.

Duration: 6-12 months

Basic Skillsets and Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree program in one of the following areas: Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics/Data Science, Machine Learning, or any relevant degree programs/related experience.
• Motivated by an international and fast-paced work environment with a strong team spirit.
• Ability to think abstractly and connect ideas to products and solutions.
• Enthusiasm and excitement to shape new ideas and services.
• Flexibility and adaptability to handle new and unfamiliar topics.
• Ability to maintain and adhere to project timelines and deliverables.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Other Job-Related Information:

• This is a locally hired internship. Candidates must have current legal authorization to work in Singapore.
• Boeing will not seek immigration and labor sponsorship for any applicants.
• Relocation assistance is not negotiable.
• Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll.
• Completion of this internship does not guarantee a full-time employment with Boeing Singapore/Jeppesen APAC.
