Job Description: Design Technology Intern

Delve Underground is seeking a Design Technology Intern for their Walnut Creek office. The pay rate for this position ranges from $25 to $28 per hour, with compensation reflecting market location, experience, knowledge, and skills.

The primary role of the successful candidate will be to assist with documentation preparation and interdisciplinary coordination for heavy civil, underground projects.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the development of detailed engineering drawings and documents based on sketches, redline markups, and information provided verbally or via notes by designers and engineers.
• Demonstrate an understanding of CAD/BIM requirements and ensure adherence to established standards.
• Actively participate in Design Technology Practice Group initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Must be a currently enrolled college student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a similar program.
• Possess working knowledge of AutoCAD design & drafting software, with Revit experience being recommended.
• Candidates should exhibit the ability to multi-task and prioritize work, possess strong communication skills, and be capable of working effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and technical communication skills.
