Job Description: Design Intern

Impiricus seeks a creative and motivated Design Intern to support both their Marketing and Product design teams. This is a 12-week, part-time, paid internship (up to 30 hours/week, $18/hour) offering practical experience in a startup environment. The intern will work closely with design and product leadership.

Responsibilities:

Marketing Design: Create marketing assets such as social media graphics, sales sheets, case studies, conference visuals, and branded templates.
Product Design: Assist with product design tasks in Figma, contributing to user-friendly product features and workflows.
Brand Maintenance: Help maintain and update company-wide design assets and the Impiricus brand guide.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, People Ops).
Design Process: Participate in design reviews, incorporate feedback, and learn about design handoff processes and operations.
Support Lead Designer: Assist the Lead Product Designer with visual design needs for product and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Actively pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience (coursework, freelance, internships).
• Strong Figma proficiency; familiarity with design systems is a plus.
• Solid understanding of typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
• Portfolio submission required.
