Delivery Lead – Open Ended Fund Integration | Apex Group

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Apex Group, located in Bangalore, Pune, or Mumbai, India. • Team: Open-Ended Fund Accounting Integration Team, reporting to Head of Department – Open-Ended Fund Accounting-Integration
• Mission: To ensure seamless integration and administration of Open-Ended Funds for clients by overseeing setup, data migration, and operational workflows.
• Tech Stack: Paxus, Geneva, Investone, Nexus (advantageous exposure)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage: Plan, schedule, and oversee the daily workflows for all client deliverables within the team, ensuring timely completion and quality.
• Direct: Oversee the setup of new business launches and fund conversions, including project management and performing necessary reviews.
• Execute: Ensure the team onboards clients and migrates data onto Apex accounting platforms by reviewing legal documents, setting up fund structures, preparing datasets, and performing reconciliations.
• Lead: Spearhead projects related to automations, migrations, conversions, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicate: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, auditors, and various internal teams, managing expectations and providing regular updates to senior management.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Vice President 1/2/3 designation. Master’s degree in Commerce (M.com), CA, MBA – Finance, or CFA qualification, with core domain knowledge in investment management or finance.
• Experience: Around 12+ years of relevant experience in Hedge Fund administration, NAV calculations, or conversion/migration experience of onboarding/transferring funds from different administrators.
• Skills: Critical and objective thinking, general ledger accounting expertise, demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy, strong analytical, technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, proficiency in advanced Excel functions, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work as an individual contributor and manage projects.
• Bonus: Exposure to accounting platforms such as Paxus, Geneva, Investone, or Nexus.
