This job posting is for a Part-Time Deli position at County Market in Wausau, part of the Jerry’s group. Jerry’s offers a store discount, employee assistance programs, and a flexible schedule to its employees. There’s also the possibility of earning an additional $3.00/hour with open availability.
Job Description:
As a Deli team member, you will play a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience for County Market’s customers. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Customer Service: Making lasting connections with customers.
• Food Preparation: Preparing deli products, including a variety of meats and cheeses (handling pork may be required).
• Product Management: Filling and rotating cases and displays. This may involve some heavy lifting (up to 50lbs).
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Helping to maintain a clean and sanitary store environment.
• Teamwork: Working collaboratively with the team on all tasks necessary to maintain an awesome deli department.
• Reliability: Being part of a dedicated team that enjoys their job, arrives promptly for shifts, and works as scheduled.

Essential Job Functions – Physical Requirements (Frequent – 15% of the work shift or at least ten repetitions per work shift):
• Lifting/Carrying: Up to 50 lbs.
• Pushing/Pulling: 500 to 1500 pounds
• Movement: Walking, reaching, standing, stooping/bending, squatting.
Equipment Used:
• Scanner, register, scale, check approval machine, coupon machine, and intercom.
• Pallet jack, highboy cart, box cutter, tongs, steamer, slicer, wrapper, knives, roaster, chicken fryer, chicken hot case, pizza oven, coffee pot, cleaning utensils.
