DCP APAC Consumer Insights Intern Description

Disney Consumer Products (DCP) is the business segment that brings Disney stories and characters to life through innovative and engaging physical products and digital experiences across over 100 product categories.

The DCP APAC Consumer Insights Intern will support custom research initiatives for DCP APAC, investigating consumer behavior across markets. This role primarily focuses on custom research, providing valuable experience in planning and executing research projects. The intern will contribute to generating actionable insights to support business decision-making within Disney.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in providing information for research presentations, sales pitches, and external communications.
• Build and manage existing and past Excel databases, establishing efficient data management processes for handling large data volumes.
• Undertake data analysis to prepare timely and insightful topline results and reports.
• Manage vendor liaison responsibilities to ensure project adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Manage incoming ad-hoc research inquiries and requests.

Internship Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Still an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship period.
• Available for a full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9 am – 6 pm) between January and June 2025.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Marketing.
• Highly self-motivated, meticulous, and comfortable working with numbers and Excel.
• Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving environment and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for collaborating in cross-functional teams.
• Passionate team player with a curious mindset.
• Self-starter who requires minimal supervision, actively seeking opportunities to contribute to insights projects.
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Strategic thinker with strong communication skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to leverage data for strategy development and decision-making.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
