• Mission: Manage, monitor, and optimize Azure SQL and Oracle databases to ensure performance, reliability, and security for day-to-day operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Ensure the availability and integrity of database systems for consistent operations.
• Maintain: Perform routine database tasks such as backups, restores, patching, and updates.
• Monitor: Oversee database performance and proactively identify potential issues before they impact users.
• Optimize: Assist with query analysis and performance tuning to improve database efficiency.
• Secure: Help maintain database security by following best practices and internal policies, and create clear documentation for procedures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career professional with a desire to grow into a Database Administrator role.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience working in databases, including hands-on experience with backup, recovery, disaster recovery planning, design, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities, experience using database monitoring and management tools, and strong communication skills to explain technical topics.
