Job Description – Data Visualization Intern
Position Overview:
This internship will focus on data visualization and analysis, providing you with the opportunity to develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI. You will learn how to effectively communicate data insights to various audiences through compelling data storytelling.
Responsibilities:
• Data Visualization: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key business metrics and trends.
• Data Storytelling: Use Power BI to create compelling data stories that effectively communicate insights to non-technical audiences.
• Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc data analysis projects as needed, such as investigating specific business questions or testing hypotheses.
• Technical Skills: Utilize SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools like Power BI.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular data audits and quality checks.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Pursuing a degree in a related field (e.g., Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science).
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or better.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI preferred).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
