Job Description: Data Science Intern – Summer 2025
This internship offers a 12-week, full-time (40 hours/week) opportunity during Summer 2025. The intern will work with a team focused on scaling a fast-growing company using data, reporting, and analytics. The role involves a blend of data analysis, strategic thinking, and communication.
Responsibilities:
• Strategic Alignment: Align data science priorities with the partner team’s strategic goals, identifying high-impact opportunities.
• User Journey Analysis: Improve user experience and customer value by analyzing large datasets to understand trends and user behavior.
• Measurement & Experimentation: Establish a strong measurement culture, designing and analyzing experiments and feature launches to understand their impact.
• Dashboard Development: Build and maintain high-quality dashboards to communicate key trends and insights to both internal teams and partners.
• Insight Communication: Share data-driven insights effectively with various levels of leadership to guide decision-making and shape company strategies.
Qualifications:
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one other programming language (Python, Scala, or R).
• Experience with dashboarding tools (Tableau, Business Objects, or similar).
• Experience with supervised learning, optimization, and statistical analysis.
• Enrollment in a full-time master’s degree program, returning after the internship, and graduating by June 2026.
• Not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
Compensation:
Compensation is competitive and includes a base pay, benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity. The base pay range varies by geographic location (Zones A, B, and C), with specific ranges provided.
