Data Pipeline & Reporting Intern | Holland L.P.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Pipeline Development: Assist in the creation and upkeep of data pipelines, facilitating information flow and supporting the integration of diverse data sources.
• Data Modeling & Optimization: Collaborate with Data Scientists to structure and optimize data models, specifically for efficient Power BI reporting and backend dashboard performance.
• ETL/ELT Processes: Develop and rigorously test automated data transformation processes, ensuring accurate data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Data Quality & Hygiene: Actively ensure data accuracy, implement robust validation procedures, and maintain high data hygiene standards across all reporting sources.
• Documentation & Collaboration: Contribute to comprehensive documentation of data architecture and engage cross-functionally with teams to drive customer reliability initiatives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a closely related discipline from an accredited university. Early Career.
• Experience: Familiarity with SQL and fundamental data modeling concepts; understanding of APIs and data integration principles; experience utilizing Git for version control; proficiency with Excel.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; excellent written communication skills; ability to work independently while following structured guidance.
• Bonus: Preferred experience with Python or a similar scripting language; exposure to Power BI is a significant plus.
