Data Imports Analyst | SRS Acquiom
The Tone:
This is an entry-level, full-time remote role at SRS Acquiom, available within the Continental United States (Pacific Time strongly preferred, Mountain time may be acceptable; Central or Eastern time zones not considered). SRS Acquiom delivers a platform and services to manage complex M&A and loan agency transactions more efficiently, having supported over 11,500 transactions globally since 2007. This Data Imports Analyst role is essential for ensuring the accurate and timely setup and validation of shareholder and payment data for M&A deals, directly supporting the integrity of financial data within the system of record. • Mission: Interpret, standardize, and validate complex financial data for accurate import into NetSuite, ensuring data integrity for M&A transactions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Interpretation: Interpret and audit complicated closing allocation and payment spreadsheets, including shareholder, certificate, tax, and payment instruction data, to ensure completeness and accuracy before import.
• Data Manipulation: Standardize and manipulate client-provided data using established import templates to create and update Customer data within the NetSuite system of record.
• Data Validation: Execute independent validation processes by comparing NetSuite records to original source documents and import instructions to confirm the accuracy of imported data prior to downstream processing.
• Import Execution: Import and export CSV files utilizing saved mappings in NetSuite, ensuring strict adherence to required formatting, field mapping, and validation controls.
• Issue Resolution & Collaboration: Investigate and resolve data discrepancies such as name mismatches, missing holders, or payment variances, escalating complex issues to cross-functional partners and collaborating to confirm data requirements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. This is an entry-level role.
• Experience: At least one year of experience in financial operations, data operations, or an analyst-type role. Experience working with ERP or financial systems (NetSuite or similar strongly preferred) and following detailed, documented procedures.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, and data manipulation; experience working with structured templates preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies across large datasets and multiple source documents. Ability to manage competing priorities and meet critical deadlines in a high-volume, transaction-driven environment. Comfort working in cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Bonus: Knowledge of the M&A lifecycle or post-closing financial processes is a plus.
