Description
Intel is seeking a Data Engineering Intern to join our External Manufacturing Production (EMP) department in support of the Global External Manufacturing (GEMS) organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong affinity for data and a proven track record in delivering analytics and data solutions within the supply chain domain.
As a Data Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for:
• Learning how to operate within a large organization
• Adapting to the SCRUM methodology
• Developing Python applications or SQL queries and stored procedures
• Performing experiments in new domains
• Collaborating with Intel engineers to help them achieve their quarterly key results
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
• Must be a university student in Data Analytics/Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or Mathematics
• Some experience in Python or other object-oriented languages
• Software development experience
• SQL or database experience
Preferred Currently pursuings:
• Experience with Plotly/Dash
• Experience with SCRUM or other agile software development methodologies
