As a Data Center Technician, Engineering Field Services at Google, you will be responsible for the following:
• Repairing broken equipment, including servers, networking, and storage devices
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting systems, server, and networking equipment
• Working separately following the guidance/instruction from executive members or leads
• Lifting and moving 50 lbs of equipment, working on platforms, ladders, and under raised floors
• Moving between different sites in metro to support business needs
Qualifications
• Experience in operating systems and networking protocols
• Experience in a data center, network operation center, help desk, or similar environments
• Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting computer and server hardware
Preferred qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Ability to collaborate and partner with people and teams to overcome challenges
• Ability to manage engaging and changing priorities
