Zymewire is Lumerate’s flagship product. It is an intelligence tool specifically designed for sales professionals within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical service provider sector. Zymewire helps its users understand current developments and activities within their niches. Currently, over 380 pharmaceutical and biotechnology service providers across more than 50 countries, ranging from startups to multinational corporations, utilize Zymewire for their sales research. Lumerate aims to expand Zymewire’s reach and impact even further.

Job Description

Job Title: Intern on the Zymewire Data Team (also referred to as Data Associate)

Duration: This is an 8-month internship position.

Main Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze news content sourced from pharmaceutical and biotech company websites.
• Integrate this analyzed content into Zymewire, making it actionable for users through data and machine learning processes.
• Collaborate closely with the rest of the Zymewire data team on various daily tasks and projects.
• Ensure that Zymewire users receive the most current industry activity data to support their sales and marketing efforts.

Eligibility Requirements (Student Work Placement Program):
This position is funded with the assistance of the Student Work Placement Program, requiring candidates to meet specific criteria:
• Must be currently registered as a full-time or part-time student in a publicly funded Ontario post-secondary institution.
• Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a protected person as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada, adhering to specific provincial legislation and regulations for Ontario.

Salary: The compensation for this position is $3200 per month.

Working Hours:
• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM EST
• Sunday: 3.5 hours
• Flexibility regarding working hours can be discussed.

Location: This is a remote position, open to candidates located anywhere in Ontario.

Start Date: The anticipated start date for this internship is September 2nd, 2025.
