About the Job: Data Associate (Intern) – 8 Months
Role Summary:
Lumerate is seeking an enthusiastic post-secondary student to join their Zymewire Data Team as an 8-month Data Associate intern. This role is ideal for data lovers eager to contribute to a growing tech company.
Main Responsibilities:
• Review and Analyze Content: The primary responsibility involves reviewing and analyzing news content sourced from pharma/biotech company websites.
• Data Integration: Integrate the analyzed content into Zymewire, transforming it into actionable data for users through existing data and machine learning processes.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the rest of the Zymewire data team on various daily tasks and projects to ensure users receive the most current industry activity data for their sales and marketing efforts.
Eligibility Requirements (Student Work Placement Program):
As this position is funded with assistance from the Student Work Placement Program, candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Must be registered full-time or part-time in a publicly funded Ontario post-secondary institution.
• Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a protected person as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada, including compliance with specific provincial legislation and regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities and skills:
• Enjoys hunting for information on the web.
• Has a genuine interest in the biotech/pharma industry.
• Is highly organized, a self-starter, proactive, and curious.
• Is very comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets.
• Considers themselves tech-savvy and is excited by the prospect of working for a software company.
• Is detail-oriented and enjoys solving puzzles.
• Possesses contagious enthusiasm.

Compensation:
• Salary: $3200 per month.
Working Hours:
• Monday – Thursday: 8 am – 4 pm EST
• Friday: 8 am – 12 pm EST
• Sunday: 3.5 hours
• Flexibility in hours can be discussed.
Location:
• Remote, candidates can be located anywhere in Ontario.
Start Date:
• September 2nd, 2025.
