Detailed Job Description:
This is a hybrid internship requiring 2-3 days per week in the Brooklyn Park, MN office. The intern will be part of the Data Analytics team, contributing to intelligent automation improvements and business intelligence reporting using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
Responsibilities include:
• Leading Intelligent Automation improvements: Developing and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
• Developing Business Intelligence Reporting: Creating reports and visualizations to support business decision-making.
• Participating in Team Meetings: Collaborating with the Data Analytics team for guidance and support.
Internship Development Opportunities:
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
• Development of skills in data modeling, querying, analysis, and visualization.
• Understanding of change management and leading change in a complex organization.
• Application of DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) processes.
Job Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Experience working with data (querying, modeling, analysis, visualization) is preferred.
• Experience with SQL, R, or Python is preferred.
• Experience with Power BI or an alternative BI platform is preferred.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office: PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and internet skills (email, group messaging, information gathering) are required.
• Strong team player with flexibility and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. permanently without sponsorship.
• Must be enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or later.
• Ability to commit to a full-time (40 hours/week) internship for 10-12 weeks (June 2nd-August 22nd or June 16th-August 29th).
