The Data Management & Analytics team at Lakeview plays a pivotal role in transforming raw data into a strategic asset for the organization. As a Data & Analytics Intern, you will be an integral part of the Enterprise Data Management & Analytics team, collaborating with both technical experts and business stakeholders. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of sophisticated data solutions, leveraging standard industry tools, established methodologies, and cutting-edge technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI).

This internship is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to the world of data analysis. Key Responsibilities

Lakeview is seeking interns who are proactive, innovative, demonstrate strong learning agility, and possess a clear bias for action. As part of our Enterprise Data Management organization, the Data Management & Analytics team supports all internal departments across a diverse range of data and analytics projects and initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating Ad-Hoc Reports and Dashboards: Developing customized reports and interactive dashboards to address specific business questions, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide timely insights to internal stakeholders.
• Data Model Development: Identifying critical criteria and subsequently building robust data models designed to support various business and financial scenarios, enabling predictive analysis and strategic planning.
• Business Profitability and Efficiency Analysis: Designing and implementing comprehensive reports and dashboards specifically aimed at assisting business units in identifying opportunities for increased profitability and operational efficiency.
• Collaborative Analytics Solution Building: Working closely with other team members and management to design, develop, and deploy innovative business analytics solutions that meet evolving organizational needs.
• Data Project Assistance: Providing support in the management of data projects, which may include tasks such as tracking progress, maintaining documentation, coordinating resources, and ensuring project deliverables are met.

Qualifications

We are looking for motivated individuals with a strong foundation in relevant academic disciplines and a passion for data.

Educational Background

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Recent graduates (within one year of graduation) holding a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or MBA degree in any discipline that has provided significant exposure and experience in relevant business or technical skills, or individuals with equivalent work experience.

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Excel & PowerBI: Some proficiency in these tools is a significant advantage, particularly for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
• Database Knowledge: Understanding of both relational and multidimensional databases, including concepts like schemas, tables, and data warehousing.
• SQL Proficiency: Demonstrated understanding and ability in SQL (Structured Query Language) for querying, manipulating, and managing data within databases.
