Data Analyst Intern
Position Overview:
IDEMIA is seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst Intern to join their dynamic team for the Fall of 2024. This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to the identification, extraction, and integration of data from the manufacturing floor. The intern will support various data-driven initiatives, including trend analysis, predictive modeling, dashboard creation, pipeline maintenance, application development, and documentation.
Duration: 10 weeks (September – November 2024)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
• Data Visualization and Reporting: Assist in the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Data Analysis: Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and insights, informing critical business decisions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with different departments to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Automation: Automate data workflows using Power Platform tools like Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Documentation: Create clear and comprehensive documentation, including user guides for developed solutions.
• SQL Management: Maintain and utilize the local SQL data warehouse.
• Team Participation: Contribute actively to regular team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
• Data Quality Improvement: Evaluate and identify strategies to enhance data quality within ERP and MES systems.
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Demonstrated understanding of ETL and data visualization concepts.
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power Platform is a plus.
• Proficiency in writing, maintaining, and editing SQL queries.
• Basic knowledge of database structure and relationships.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
