Data Analyst Internship Program
This internship program offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Disney’s technological evolution. As a Data Analyst Intern, you will play a vital role in understanding and addressing the needs of key stakeholders within the Enterprise Technology segment. You will leverage your analytical skills to gather insights from data, generate impactful reports, and support crucial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• “Voice of the Customer”: You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their priorities, challenges, and needs.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: You will analyze data and generate reports to identify key performance indicators (KPIs), track service utilization, and inform strategic decisions.
• Project Support: You will collaborate with product owners and senior business analysts to manage team backlogs, document processes, write user stories, and provide end-user training.
• Backlog Management: You will monitor changes to program backlogs and communicate with senior business analysts regarding their impact on team sprints and iterations.
• Requirements Gathering & Analysis: You will contribute to the collection of business requirements, perform thorough analysis, and document user stories.
• Story Evaluation: You will evaluate delivered stories against established acceptance criteria and the definition of done.
• Project Participation: You will actively participate in assigned projects, contributing your skills and insights.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
• Technology Background: Demonstrated understanding of technology concepts and skills.
• Technical & Creative Writing: Ability to translate complex ideas into clear and understandable user stories.
• Customer Service Orientation: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Programming Skills: Familiarity with Python/R or other statistical programming languages.
• Data Exploration & Visualization: Proficiency with data exploration and visualization tools such as Tableau, Jupyter, Power BI, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficiency with Collaboration Tools: Experience using tools like Office 365, Slack, Jira, and Confluence.
Program Details:
• Location: Orlando, FL or Burbank, CA (preference will be discussed during the interview process)
• Program Length: May/June – August/September 2025 (12 weeks)
• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Eligibility Requirements:
• Enrollment: Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter preceding the internship.
• Return to School: Must be returning to school following the internship.
• Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
• Work Authorization: Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
• Availability: Must be available for the entire program duration.
• Housing & Transportation: Must be able to arrange own housing and transportation.
• Previous Internship Experience: Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program.
