Data Analyst
Job Summary:
As a Data Analyst at KPMG, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive decision-making and improve business outcomes. You will leverage your analytical skills, data management expertise, and understanding of business principles to provide actionable recommendations and support various initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into actionable data analysis plans
• Collect, clean, and prepare data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Perform advanced data analytics using industry-leading tools and techniques, such as SQL, Python, R, and Tableau
• Develop data visualization dashboards and reports to communicate insights and support decision-making
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable recommendations
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging data analytics technologies
• Participate in project teams and collaborate with colleagues across disciplines
• Maintain data confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, data management, or a related role
• Strong analytical skills, including data mining, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, including SQL, Python, R, and Tableau
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and actionable insights
• Strong business acumen and understanding of industry trends
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines under pressure
