What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Preparation: Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preparing data for analysis.
• Data Analysis: Perform basic data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
• ML Support: Support senior data scientists in building and testing machine learning models.
• Reporting & Visualization: Create simple reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Project Contribution: Work on academic, internship, or internal projects using real datasets.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Freshers or candidates with 0–3 years of experience, demonstrating strong academic knowledge, projects, or internship experience.
• Skills: Basic programming knowledge in Python, understanding of statistics and mathematics fundamentals, familiarity with Pandas and NumPy, basic knowledge of SQL and databases, and awareness of machine learning concepts.
• Bonus: Academic projects or internships in data science/analytics, exposure to ML libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch), experience with data visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, Power BI), participation in online courses, certifications, Kaggle, or GitHub projects, and a basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
