The Tone:
This is an internship at Jazwares, located in Plantation, FL, operating on a hybrid schedule. Jazwares, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is a leading global toy manufacturer known for a robust portfolio of owned and licensed brands, including Squishmallows and Pokémon. This role offers hands-on experience with modern cloud and AI technologies, allowing the intern to prototype solutions, build practical use cases, and directly contribute to the company’s enterprise AI roadmap by applying data-driven approaches.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop: Create AI proof-of-concepts (POCs) in Databricks to test and validate new capabilities.
• Build: Construct business use cases using AI/BI Genie in Databricks to enhance reporting and decision-making.
• Contribute: Help accelerate the enterprise AI roadmap through data-driven solutions.
• Partner: Collaborate with Data Governance to apply AI for data quality improvement and automated clean-up.
• Support: Assist in automating data workflows and analytics processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled high school rising senior, undergraduate, or graduate student, having completed at least one year of an academic program (for UG/G), with graduation no earlier than March 2026. Possesses curiosity about automating and improving workflows in Data, Analytics, and AI.
• Experience: Technical familiarity with cloud data platforms and AI/ML tools, working knowledge of SQL, Python, and Machine Learning fundamentals. Exposure to prompt engineering, LLMs, or generative AI concepts.
• Skills: SQL, Python, Machine Learning fundamentals, prompt engineering, strong collaboration, communication, time management, organization, prioritization, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace proficiency.
• Bonus: Databricks experience.
