Rite of Passage Team is seeking passionate advocates dedicated to improving the lives of youth. The company has 40 years of experience helping young people become successful adults. This position is at San Pasqual Academy (SPA) in Escondido, California. SPA provides a supportive environment for youth, similar to a private high school with residential staff and surrogate parents.
Job Description: Cycling Coach/Bike Mechanic
• Title: Cycling Coach/Bike Mechanic
• Location: San Pasqual Academy, Escondido, California
• Pay: $20.00/hour
Responsibilities:
• Coaching youth in cycling skills.
• Fostering teamwork and personal development among participants.
• Managing bike maintenance and repairs to ensure safe operation.
• Creating a positive, safe, and supportive environment for youth.
• Promoting fitness, teamwork, and responsibility.
Requirements:
• Demonstrated cycling experience through club or race associations.
• Sound mechanical skills to ensure bike and equipment safety.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
• Ability to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
Schedule:
• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts.
