Job Description – Cybersecurity Analyst:
This position is part of a fast-paced project supporting a high-priority program within Deloitte’s GPS Cyber Practice. The Cybersecurity Analyst will play a key role in assisting with the development, verification, and validation of information security systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review Policies & Procedures: Analyze and assess existing policies and procedures to ensure alignment with best practices and security standards.
• Integrate IT, Cyber, and Cyberspace Operations: Collaborate with teams to integrate cybersecurity considerations into strategic and operational objectives across various departments.
• Facilitate Information Sharing: Foster internal and external information sharing to promote collaboration and enhance threat intelligence.
• Coordinate with Stakeholders: Effectively interact and communicate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, and other organizations.
• Project Management: Assist in coordinating and executing multiple projects in accordance with deadlines and project requirements.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare and update technical artifacts, including test reports, analysis reports, and project documentation.
• Security Tool Implementation: Contribute to the design and implementation of cybersecurity tools and technologies.
• Communication: Clearly and effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Risk Analysis: Conduct cybersecurity risk analysis and management activities to identify, assess, and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
Qualifications:
• Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Assurance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in information technology or a directly relevant industry.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA’s Network+, CompTIA’s Security+, or similar.
• Preferred:
• Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is estimated to be between $114,000 and $190,000, and the actual salary will be based on experience, skills, and other factors.
