Job Description:

Cyber Intern:

As a Cyber Intern, you will gain practical experience working with Deloitte’s team of experts on a range of cyber security projects. You will be involved in real-world projects, learning from experienced professionals and contributing to the development and implementation of cyber security solutions for Deloitte’s clients.

Responsibilities:

Develop Cyber Programs: Contribute to the design and implementation of cyber programs aligned with client objectives.
Assess Cyber Capabilities: Help analyze the effectiveness of client’s cyber programs and identify areas for improvement.
Manage Cyber Risk: Assist in deploying processes and technologies to address cyber risks and protect sensitive information.
Enhance Application Security: Support efforts to improve application security and mitigate business risk.
Secure Cloud Environments: Contribute to the development and implementation of cloud security solutions.
Manage Vulnerabilities: Assist in identifying, assessing, and managing vulnerabilities in systems and software.
Secure IoT Devices: Participate in projects related to securing connected devices.
Develop Advanced Cyber Analytics: Help create and deploy advanced cyber monitoring and analytics solutions.
Prepare for Cyber Threats: Contribute to the design and delivery of cyber wargames to help clients prepare for evolving cyber threats.
Respond to Cyber Incidents: Assist in incident response efforts and provide support for forensic investigations.
Analyze Emerging Technology Risks: Explore and document cybersecurity risks associated with new technologies such as Manufacturing, Connected Products, and 5G.

Qualifications:

Required:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, Math, Decision Sciences, Risk Management, Engineering, or other related fields.
• Strong academic record (minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to commute to the assigned office location (within 100 mile radius) and travel up to 50% as needed.
Preferred:
• Strong academic record (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2).
• Relevant work experience or internships.
