Customer Service Representative | U-Haul
The Tone:
This is an early career position at U-Haul, located at various U-Haul centers. U-Haul provides equipment and services for moving and storage. This role is crucial as you will be the direct point of contact for customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service and well-maintained equipment for their journeys.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Assistance: Assist customers with U-Haul products and services, providing support both inside and outside the center.
• Rental Management: Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage equipment rentals, dispatch, and returns.
• Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, clean, and maintain equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels and preparing units.
• Equipment Handling: Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers for customer use.
• Customer Education & Specialized Services: Educate customers on products and services, prepare rental invoices, accept returned equipment, install hitches and trailer wiring, and fill propane.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Valid driver’s license with the ability to maintain a good driving record.
• Skills: Customer service aptitude, ability to operate smartphone technology, basic equipment handling, and a willingness to learn specialized tasks.
