Job Description: Customer Experience Intern
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented student to gain hands-on experience in the retail energy or energy sector as a Customer Experience Intern. The position is based in Houston, TX, and will run as a fall internship from September 2025 to December 2025.
Role Overview:
As a Customer Experience Intern, you will be an integral part of the Strategic Account Services team for Key Accounts. Your primary focus will be on customer engagement, operational support, and performance tracking. You will work under the guidance of the Strategic Account Services Senior and collaborate with various cross-functional teams, contributing to making a meaningful impact on the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operational & Administrative Support: Assist the Strategic Account Services team to help maintain strong customer relationships.
• Key Account Communications: Help manage communications for key accounts by drafting messages, updating records, and supporting customer outreach efforts.
• Onboarding Process: Shadow onboarding processes for new key accounts, collaborating closely with the Sales team.
• Service Request Management: Support the documentation and organization of service requests using the Freshdesk ticketing system.
• Performance Tracking: Help prepare KPI dashboards and performance summaries to assess customer satisfaction.
• Team Collaboration: Participate in meetings and team discussions, responsible for capturing notes and follow-up action items.

• Education: Must be at least a college sophomore pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Energy Management, or a related field.
• Experience Gained: This internship offers the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in customer service, business operations, and the energy industry.
• Skill Development: You will develop strong organizational skills and attention to detail through real-world tasks, gain exposure to industry tools and platforms, and strengthen your communication and interpersonal skills through cross-functional collaboration.
Additional Details:
• Work Policy: This role is eligible for a hybrid work policy, requiring a minimum of three (3) days working in the office if you are based in Houston, TX.
• Compliance: Candidates must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies.
• Compensation: The hourly range for this position is $21.00 – $34.00 USD hourly. The actual offered salary may vary based on factors such as geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors. ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Specific information regarding benefits or salary can be provided by the Talent Acquisition Partner based on the work location.
• Experience Level: This position is suitable for candidates with Junior professional experience (less than 3 years, common for internships).
