Customer Account Specialist | Saint-Gobain
The Tone:

This role is essential for managing the entire order process, from initial acceptance to final invoicing, ensuring accurate execution and strong customer relationships crucial for supporting business plans and providing effective solutions.

• Mission: To manage the order process from customer acceptance through to invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timely execution while providing solutions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Order Process Management: Oversee the entire order lifecycle from acceptance of an order to the completion of invoicing, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Order Entry and Execution: Manage the accurate processing and execution of all manual and automated orders into SAP for various US and Canada business units, meeting service level agreements.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, along with Chryso departments, logistics providers, and product vendors.
• Customer Solutions & Support: Provide timely and accurate support and solutions to internal and external customers, ensuring appropriate service delivery.
• Communication & Escalation: Professionally handle inbound and outbound calls, communicate order shipment expectations for rush requests, and timely escalate order issues to management.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma or accredited GED required; experience in customer service, order management, and logistics.
• Experience: 2+ years of customer service experience in an active industry required, alongside 2+ years of experience with SAP.
• Skills: Outstanding attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to work independently, strong ability to prioritize workload, effective written and verbal communication, and a confident telephone presence.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s Degree in a Business Related Discipline, 2+ years experience in order management and logistics, basic working knowledge of SalesForce and Excel, and a desire to grow within the company.
