Custodial/Grounds Summer Internship Job Description

This paid internship will give you the chance to work closely with Compass Group leaders, developing skills and gaining valuable experience in various areas. You’ll have the opportunity to learn and practice in fields like:

Operations: Gaining insight into the day-to-day running of a facility services organization.
Marketing: Understanding how marketing strategies are used to promote services and build brand awareness.
Administration: Learning about the administrative processes that keep an organization running smoothly.
Guest Services: Developing excellent customer service skills and understanding how to provide positive experiences.
Problem Solving: Learning to identify and solve issues efficiently and effectively.
Project Planning and Implementation: Gaining experience in planning and carrying out innovative projects.
Client Relationship Skills: Building strong relationships with clients and understanding their needs.

This hands-on internship will provide you with opportunities for personal growth and development.

This position is paid but does not include benefits such as medical, relocation, or housing.

To be eligible for this internship, you must:

• Be enrolled in a college/university or technical program to receive college credit.
• Possess a genuine interest in learning, observing, and practicing various experiences within the facility services industry.
• Demonstrate awareness, understanding, and skills necessary to work effectively in a diverse environment.
• Possess excellent writing and editing skills.
• Be articulate and possess strong interpersonal skills.
• Have the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
