Job Description: Current Programming Intern
This Fall Internship, running from September through December 13th, offers a part-time opportunity (10-29 hours per week) for students enrolled in an accredited college or university. The position is within the Current Programming department, which is responsible for the day-to-day management of all television shows produced by the studio.
Responsibilities:
• Rolling Calls: Participate in specific calls within the creative community.
• Note-taking on Calls: Develop skills in understanding and recording key information during calls.
• Scheduling Meetings: Assist in scheduling meetings with industry leaders and producers.
• Status Report Updates: Maintain and update status reports for all series.
• Exposure to Critical Meetings: Gain valuable insights by attending development meetings, production meetings, and shadowing shows.
Qualifications:
• Strong passion and focus on scripted programming.
• Interest in the entertainment industry.
• Excellent creative eye.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Enrolled in an accredited college/university.
• Previous experience at an agency or production company.
Compensation and Benefits:
• The anticipated base salary is $19/hour.
• Comprehensive benefits may be available.
• The actual base salary offered will depend on individual qualifications, experience, education, and location.
Work Environment:
• This is a part-time position, working 10-29 hours per week.
• Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9-6 pm.
• A hybrid work structure may or may not be available.
