Position Overview
The Culture & Style Intern will play a vital role in assisting the editorial team with a broad range of editorial activities. This position demands a creative mind, efficient execution, and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines and turnarounds. You will be an integral part of our content creation process, contributing to compelling narratives that capture the essence of youth culture.
Key Responsibilities
As a Culture & Style Intern, you will have the opportunity to:
- Write and Edit: Craft engaging entertainment, fashion, and beauty articles for publication across Her Campus platforms.
- Project Contribution: Assist with larger editorial projects and content packages from conception to execution.
- Interviewing: Conduct interviews with talent and expert sources to gather insights and enhance content.
- SEO & E-commerce Content: Create and optimize content for search engine visibility and e-commerce initiatives, driving traffic and engagement.
- Timely Assignments: Take on urgent writing assignments for the Entertainment, Fashion, Beauty, and other relevant sections, demonstrating adaptability and speed.
- Research: Conduct thorough research on trending topics, emerging styles, and cultural phenomena.

Essential Qualifications
We are looking for individuals who are/have:
- A current college undergraduate with the ability to receive college credit for the internship.
- Strong communication, organization, and strategic thinking skills.
- A hardworking, detail-oriented, efficient, and creative work ethic.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (formerly Google for Work) tools.
- A passion for all things Gen Z culture and trends.
- In-depth knowledge of fashion, beauty, and pop culture trends.
- Keen interest in writing, editing, research, and project management.
- Commitment to creating high-quality style content.
Additional Internship Details
- Location: This is a remote internship, open to current college students located in the United States.
- Availability: Internships are offered year-round on a full-time or part-time basis.
- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship, offered strictly for school credit.
- Hours: We offer flexible hours to accommodate your academic schedule.
- Eligibility for Work in the U.S.: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship. Her Campus Media does not offer visa sponsorship for this position.
