What You’ll Actually Do
• Crew Pairing Design: Support the construction of crew pairings to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve crew quality of life.
• Bid Package Development: Assist in developing PBS bid packages, which include lines, reserves, and coverage targets.
• Bid Award Analysis: Analyze bid award results and identify opportunities to improve outcomes for both crew and operations.
• Reporting & Dashboards: Build reports and dashboards to track key metrics such as coverage, productivity, and performance.
• Operational Alignment: Partner with Crew Scheduling and Operations teams to align planning strategies with day-of-operation needs.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student, pursuing an undergraduate degree in Aviation, Business, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field. Must be at least a sophomore, having successfully completed a minimum of 30 semester hours, and able to maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create pivot tables and complex formulas, coupled with a demonstrated analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Skills: An active interest in airline operations or logistics, a consistent prioritization of safety and security, and an embracing attitude towards diverse people, thinking, and styles.
