Job Description:

Citizens Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst to join their Subscription Finance & Services Group. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing and rapidly growing team within one of the largest regional banks in the country.

Responsibilities:

Credit Analysis: Review and analyze borrowing bases for clients of the Subscription Finance Group.
Financial Modeling & Reporting: Create and maintain financial models and databases that support portfolio management’s monitoring of collateral, compliance with credit policy, and the underwriting of loans. Coordinate with internal teams to generate comprehensive reports in Excel, Access, and Power BI.
Due Diligence: Perform financial analysis and due diligence on clients, including researching their limited partners, market trends, and other relevant factors.
Research & Reporting: Write company-specific and thematic investment-driven research reports. Conduct research from primary literature, proprietary databases, and tailored industry surveys.
Stakeholder Engagement: Attend meetings with management teams and investor conferences to stay informed and build relationships.
Investment Theme Analysis: Analyze and update investment themes and ideas across the Internet sector.

Qualifications:

General: Ability to function in a flat organization, manage multiple projects, and work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated experience in credit matters with a strong ability to read, interpret, and understand credit issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred: Background in finance, economics, or accounting. Self-starting team player who can think strategically and excel in a fast-paced environment.
Experience: Equivalent work experience or completion of a formal credit training program with up to 2 years of financial analysis experience in a commercial banking environment. 1-3 years of commercial banking experience is preferred.
Skills: Basic internet search skills, knowledge of financial statement spreading and profitability modeling, effective communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities.
Software Proficiency: Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.

Hours and Work Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday
