Job Description: tms Summer Internship Program – Creative Opportunities
The tms Summer Internship Program is designed to foster and enhance interns’ skills, providing a comprehensive and inclusive experience.
Program Dates: June 2, 2026 – August 7, 2026
About the Program:
The program offers hands-on experience working with clients and cross-functional teams, alongside numerous networking and relationship-building opportunities with industry leaders, mentors, and peers. Interns will be fully integrated across various business units and departments at tms, focusing on team-building and strengths-building. Throughout the summer, interns will engage in real client projects and collaborate on a Capstone project, which will be “pitched” to the agency at the program’s conclusion. The program also includes participation in various panels, lunch & learns, and group activities centered on providing career tips, guidance, and best practices. The overarching goal is to cultivate future talent that will develop and bring fresh, innovative ideas to life.
Internship Opportunities within the Program include:

• Motion Design
• 3D Artist / Game Designer
Creative Internship Overview:
tms is specifically seeking Creative Interns across disciplines such as Copywriting, Design, Art Direction, Digital / Visual Design / Interactive Experience, and Packaging. Interns will gain an understanding of the entire agency process, from project kick-off to the execution of client deliverables. This includes hands-on experience participating in briefing sessions, concepting, and brainstorming exercises, and actively contributing to art, design, copy, and communications.
Key Contributions and Responsibilities:
As a Creative Intern, you will contribute to the development of concepts and collaborate with the production department to create marketing and promotional elements. These could include:
• POP (Point-of-Purchase) materials
• Print ads
• Menu boards
• Presentation decks and comps
• Direct mail
• Logo design
• Packaging
• Web pages and implementation guides
• Signage, and more.
Your role will involve:
• Assisting in concepting, copywriting, art direction, and the overall creative process.
• Generating compelling creative that communicates clearly and effectively across all mediums.
• Providing quality assurance, working with the design studio and keyline artists as needed.
• Adapting creative style to suit a variety of clients’ individual personality and brand needs.
• Having the ability to render thumbnail sketches and rough presentation layouts.
• Presenting work approach and rationale effectively to internal resources and the wider Creative team.
• Producing sketches and layouts to communicate concepts to internal teams and clients.
• Solving problems visually, transforming ideas into workable concepts across multiple channels.
• Regularly engaging in conceptual brainstorms and idea generation.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Education: Rising Junior, Senior, Recent Graduate, or Creative Bootcamp Grad.
• GPA: 3.0 or higher.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Core Competencies:
• Solutions-oriented with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enjoying building relationships and working with others.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong time and project management skills, comfortable juggling multiple tasks.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Resourceful and a proactive self-starter.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• General knowledge of promotional strategies and tactics.
• Interest in Creative Strategy and Planning.
• General knowledge of print production / production experience in Digital and Traditional processes.
• Experience in digital/web development is a plus.
• Works well in a creative team-based environment.
• Pristine file management habits.
