About Last Night’s Game

Last Night’s Game is a female-led company dedicated to helping people connect through sports. Founded by siblings Amy and Scott, the company aims to empower individuals to join the sports conversation, even if they lack in-depth sports knowledge.

They offer a weekly email publication, podcast, social media presence, and a reader-driven website, all focusing on covering sports in a way that is engaging and relatable. Last Night’s Game believes in the intersection of pop culture and sports, making it a welcoming space for those without a strong sports background.

They also have a brand extension called Cultivating A Network Of Champions which focuses on removing the anxiety around networking and building confidence.

About the Creative Content Internship

This is an unpaid, experiential internship for college credit, offering 10-15 hours of work per week from the week of December 2nd, 2023 through May 2025. The internship is designed to be flexible and accommodate student holiday schedules.

Key responsibilities include:

Ideating and creating content: Working with the team on TikTok and Reels accounts, developing video strategy, and establishing a strong brand presence on emerging platforms.
Content creation: Creating engaging brand and product content for social media, email, and website.
Brainstorming: Coming up with innovative ways to connect with customers through social media and online experiences.
Brand consistency: Maintaining and developing brand tone and voice across all platforms.
Special projects: Taking on specific tasks and projects as assigned.

Ideal candidate profile:

• Rising junior or senior college student with digital experience.
• Passionate about TikTok/Reels and video content creation.
• Stays ahead of digital trends and emerging social platforms.
• Enjoys the brands and is willing to go the extra mile.
• Not required to be a sports expert.
• Self-starter with initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Creative individual who enjoys building a welcoming community.
• Experience in digital and social media strategy.
• Proficient in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and/or Illustrator.
Bonus: Strong track record in creating engaging video content.
