Job Title: Counter Sales Representative

Ferguson is seeking a motivated individual to fill an immediate need for a Counter Sales Representative.

Position Details:

  • Location: Onsite – Tampa, FL
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice to customers, guiding them to the best products that fit their specific needs.
  • Efficiently process customer orders using our order management system.
  • Operate cash registers accurately and adhere to established cash handling procedures.
  • Prepare and stage orders for convenient customer pick-up.
  • Maintain the store’s appearance and uphold merchandising standards as advised.
  • Ensure merchandise is consistently restocked and organized in its designated areas.
  • Uphold a safe working environment, including consistent use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 0-3 years of experience preferred, showcasing a foundational understanding of sales or customer service.
  • Product Knowledge: Basic knowledge of products relevant to our industries is preferred.
  • Digital Literacy: General digital literacy is required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise as needed.
  • Math Skills: General math skills are essential for accurate cash accounting.
  • Learning Agility: An ability to learn new products and processes quickly is a must-have!
  • Communication & Decision Making: Excellent decision-making and communication skills are crucial for customer interaction and problem-solving.

Compensation:

  • Pay Range: $15.00 – $25.39 per hour.
  • This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.

Estimated Ranges displayed are Hourly for this role. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
