What You’ll Actually Do
• Cost Analysis: Conduct comprehensive cost analysis to support and optimize the financial operations within the manufacturing setting, identifying key cost drivers and areas for efficiency.
• Inventory Accounting: Manage all aspects of inventory accounting, ensuring accurate valuation, tracking, and reporting of inventory to maintain financial integrity.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and disseminate accurate financial reports relevant to manufacturing operations, providing clarity and data for stakeholders.
• Data Accuracy: Ensure the precision and integrity of manufacturing data, upholding reliable records for all production-related financial transactions.
• Strategic Contribution: Provide critical insights derived from financial data to plant leadership and operations teams, actively contributing to strategic decision-making, fostering operational efficiency, and supporting continuous process improvement initiatives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a mandatory focus on previous experience specifically within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a solid foundation in accounting principles applied to a production-based context.
• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging ERP systems to streamline and support both accounting functions and operational processes.
• Skills: Highly organized with robust analytical capabilities, proven problem-solving acumen, and strong cross-functional communication skills essential for collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
• Bonus: Prior experience with NetSuite ERP system is a distinct advantage and highly valued.
