Corporate Strategy Associate Internship

This internship is a 10-week paid program based in Wayzata, MN. The Corporate Strategy Associate Intern will work on high-priority projects and initiatives sponsored by Cargill’s Executive Team and other senior business leaders to develop high-impact corporate, business, and function strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

Developing high-impact corporate, business, and function strategies
Evaluating market entry opportunities
Developing new business models
Defining long-term corporate strategy in response to emerging industry trends
Working in partnership with Cargill’s leadership as trusted internal consultants
Conducting qualitative and quantitative data gathering and analysis
Collaborating with business partners to gather information and build consensus
Participating in professional development activities with senior leaders

Qualifications:

Pursuing an MBA or relevant Master’s degree with anticipated graduation date in 2026 or 2027
2-4 years of relevant work experience in consulting, strategy, food/agriculture, or other applicable roles
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with strong business acumen
Demonstrated team and project leadership skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High sense of accountability, strong will to succeed, and demonstrated desire to learn

Preferred Qualifications:

International business experience
Bilingual, especially Spanish or Portuguese
Ability to navigate complex organizations
Ability to operate with partners across all levels of an organization
Ability to travel, potentially up to 20% (depending on project needs)
Exposure to, or demonstrated affinity for, Food & Ag or related industries

This position is based in Wayzata, MN and operates as a hybrid role with a mix of in-office and remote work.
