What You’ll Actually Do
• Corporate Formations: Support attorneys in the critical process of entity formations, ensuring all legal requirements are met accurately and efficiently.
• Governance & Contract Drafting: Assist with drafting corporate governance documents and preparing various contracts for transactional matters.
• Regulatory Compliance Management: Manage and execute regulatory filings, ensuring timely and accurate submission to relevant authorities.
• Litigation Document Management: Oversee meticulous document management for litigation cases, organizing and maintaining all necessary filings and supporting materials.
• Litigation Case Support: Provide comprehensive case support for litigation matters, which comprise approximately 20% of the overall workload.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a closely related field of study.
• Experience: Possess at least 2 years of professional experience specifically as a Corporate Paralegal or in a Transactional Legal Support role.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to support attorneys across a breadth of corporate and transactional matters, including entity formations, the creation of corporate governance documents, the handling of contracts, and the processing of regulatory filings. The role also requires strong organizational skills, coupled with the capacity to effectively assist on litigation matters through meticulous document management, accurate filings, and overall case support.
