Position Title: Corporate Legal & Compliance Summer Intern
Compensation: The compensation for this position is $26 – $28 hourly.
Position Attributes and Responsibilities:
• Conduct research and develop summaries/presentations on emerging insurance topics, such as artificial intelligence.
• Analyze existing policy language on specific issues (e.g., state cancellation/nonrenewal requirements) and identify potential updates for proprietary insurance forms.
• Research key competitors and create comprehensive summaries of their programs.
• Provide assistance with special projects and other assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Public Relations, Management Consulting, Organization and Management, Advertising, Communication, Sales, Human Resources, Management, or a related field.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
• A minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Graduation dates ranging from December 2026 – May 2028.
• Required: Experience in legal research.
• Preferred: Experience working within a corporate environment, demonstrating the ability to balance competing priorities.
• Preferred: An interest in the insurance and/or financial services industries.
• Preferred: A corporate background or an interest in working at an international publicly traded S&P 500 company.
• A plus: Familiarity with the investment management business and/or legal documentation in support of an investment management business.
• Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit coupled with a desire for continuous learning.
• A team player who collaborates effectively with others.
• A self-starter capable of working independently and effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
