Job Description

Position Title: Corporate Legal & Compliance Summer Intern

Position Attributes and Responsibilities:
The intern will contribute to the legal and compliance functions by:
• Conducting research and creating summaries/presentations on evolving insurance topics, specifically mentioning artificial intelligence.
Analyzing current policy language related to specific issues, such as state cancellation/nonrenewal requirements, and identifying potential updates for proprietary insurance forms.
Researching key competitors and developing summaries of their programs.
• Assisting with various special projects and other assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

Education:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Public Relations, Management Consulting, Organization and Management, Advertising, Communication, Sales, Human Resources, Management, or a related field is required.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
• A minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is mandatory.
• Candidates must have graduation dates ranging from December 2026 – May 2028.
Experience in legal research is required.
Preferred qualifications include:
• Experience working within a corporate environment while balancing competing priorities.
• An interest in the insurance and/or financial services industries.
• A corporate background or an interest in working at an international publicly traded S&P 500 company.
A plus would be familiarity with the investment management business and/or legal documentation supporting it.
• Desired personal attributes include an entrepreneurial spirit, a desire for continuous learning, being a collaborative team player, and a self-starter capable of independent work and effective management of multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:
The compensation for this summer intern position is $26 – $28 per hour.
