The firm is actively seeking a Corporate Legal Assistant equipped with strong administrative, organizational, and technical skills. This pivotal position is dedicated to providing high-level support to multiple attorneys within a busy corporate practice. The Legal Assistant plays a critical part in ensuring the efficient workflow and operational excellence of the legal team, directly contributing to the firm’s commitment to client service and its comprehensive legal offerings.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Attorney Support: Provide high-level administrative and legal support to multiple corporate attorneys, facilitating their daily practice and client engagements.
• Document Management & Preparation: Prepare, edit, and format legal documents, agreements, and correspondence, while also creating, managing, and tracking versions and redlines using Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• File Organization: Maintain and organize electronic and paper files efficiently using a document management system, ensuring easy retrieval and adherence to firm standards.
• Calendar & Matter Coordination: Manage attorney calendars, coordinate meetings, schedule calls, and assist with matter management, including tracking deadlines and contacts.
• General Administrative Tasks: Perform essential general administrative duties such as processing new client/matter reports, drafting engagement letters, handling travel and expense reports, and time entry.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A professional possessing 3–5+ years of dedicated legal assistant experience, equipped to provide comprehensive support within a legal environment.
• Experience: Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and practical experience utilizing Adobe Acrobat for document creation and management.
• Skills:
• Proficiency with document management systems (e.g., iManage, NetDocuments, or similar) for efficient file organization and retrieval.
• Exceptional organizational skills and a keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with attorneys and clients.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet critical deadlines consistently.
• Bonus: Prior experience specifically within a corporate law practice is strongly preferred.
