Job Title: Corporate Global Enterprise Services (GES) Internship Development Professional (IDP)
Job Summary: About the Program
We are thrilled to present an immersive, 10-week Corporate Global Enterprise Services Internship Development Program designed for current college students. Kicking off each May, this program offers extensive hands-on experience and a deep dive into the operations of our Global Enterprise Services (GES) division. As an Internship Development Professional (IDP), you will gain exposure to critical GES functions, including financial accounting and business analysis.
About Global Enterprise Services (GES)
GES is Cemex’s integrated, shared services organization. It is responsible for overseeing all end-to-end accounting and financial activities, encompassing a wide array of processes such as:
- Operative Support
- Credit Management
- Order to Cash (O2C)
- Procure to Pay (P2P)
- Record to Report (R2R)
- Payroll (H2R)
Job Responsibilities: What You Will Experience

Qualifications: Who We Are Looking For
We seek highly motivated students eager to explore the world of end-to-end Global Enterprise Services operations. Ideal candidates will possess:
- Educational Foundation: Active pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with at least junior year standing.
- Academic Performance: A minimum GPA of 2.5, with a strong preference for candidates with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Leadership Potential: Demonstrated leadership qualities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Communication Skills: Strong analytical and communication abilities, including the capability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in tools such as Excel and Power BI, coupled with a solid understanding of accounting principles, P&L analysis, balance sheet accounting, and financial modeling.
- Team Collaboration: The ability to excel both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Working Conditions
- Work Schedule: This is a full-time, on-site internship requiring a 40-hour work week, typically Monday through Friday.
- Environment: Primarily an office-based setting, with occasional exposure to varying conditions, including outdoor environments, as needed.
