Job Description: Corporate Finance Internship – Summer 2025
This 10-week summer internship offers hands-on experience within PMI’s U.S. Finance team. Interns will work alongside senior finance leaders across multiple U.S. office locations (Stamford, CT or Richmond, VA). The role involves:
• Improving Finance Processes: The intern will contribute to enhancing processes for various finance activities, working closely with teams in Financial Controlling and Financial Planning & Analysis.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: The position requires liaising with colleagues across different finance sub-functions.
• Meaningful Project Delivery: The intern will complete a project that adds value to stakeholders and can be included on their resume.
• Professional Development: Participation in professional development and networking activities is included.
Responsibilities: The daily tasks will involve working on various finance-related activities, collaborating with teams, analyzing data, and improving existing processes.
Qualifications:
• Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field (Economics, Statistics, Quantitative Sciences, etc.). Graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS-365 (especially Excel), experience with databases and statistical analysis methods, understanding of financial statements and ERP systems.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, attention to detail, strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong analytical and reasoning skills, intellectual curiosity, ability to analyze large datasets, comfort working independently and in groups, results-oriented, ability to interact with senior management, strong collaboration skills.
Essential Requirements:
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and commutable distance to Stamford, CT or Richmond, VA.
Compensation: hourly base salary range: $25 – $35/hr. Additional benefits include annual bonus (based on level), medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k with company match, wellness benefits, commuter benefits, pet insurance, generous PTO, and a hybrid work model (“Smart Work”).
