Description: Corporate Engineering Training Group Intern
Internship Summary
As a Corporate Engineering Training Group Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the Buildings and Systems Engineering (BaSE) function by developing and maintaining training content. You will work closely with training leadership to identify gaps in current training resources, create engaging and effective training materials, and provide administrative support.
Responsibilities
• Communicate with training leadership to assess training material gaps on the BaSE website
• Update the Training site on the BaSE homepage
• Create Computer Based Training (CBT) using e-learning course creation applications
• Review, edit, and beta test CBTs under development
• Research industry leaders in technical training and offer suggestions to improve current training
• Provide administrative support with the organization of BaSE Training materials and content
• Follow up and track progress on initiatives, new projects, and certifications
Preferences
• STEM background in IT, electrical, mechanical, automation, or other related fields of study (Candidates with a strong training and development background will also be considered)
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Ability to multi-task and be highly organized, detail-oriented, with outstanding follow-through skills
• Ability to learn subjects thoroughly and supply appropriate details when responding to questions
• Ability to identify, adapt, and apply approaches in problem-solving
• High degree of independent judgment, accuracy, and timeliness
• Advanced knowledge of various software packages, including Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn video editing and e-learning software
• Ability to work cross-functionally and independently
