What You’ll Actually Do
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research, evaluate externally-produced reports, develop expert network questions, and analyze federal budget and procurement data to understand market dynamics.
• Target Evaluation: Evaluate the capabilities of potential acquisition targets, research previous M&A transactions and comparable public companies, and perform detailed business valuations.
• Financial Modeling: Develop comprehensive financial models, including pulling comparable companies and assembling valuation models with scenario-based adjustments.
• Executive Communication: Produce thoughtful, well-researched, and well-formatted slides for executive audiences, and draft memos for internal and external executives.
• Deal Documentation: Obsessively take meeting notes, summarize findings and action items, track deal progress, and manage highly confidential projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Professionals with at least 2 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or private equity/venture capital.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years performing financial analysis, market research, and strategic evaluations.
• Skills: Strong analytical aptitude with proficiency in Excel modeling and financial valuation; capable of deep market research utilizing federal budget and procurement data; excellent communication skills for senior leadership; able to manage confidential information. Must hold U.S. Person status, obtain a U.S. Secret-level Security Clearance, and be able to travel 25–40%.
• Bonus: Prior experience within the aerospace and defense sector.
