Job Description: Corporate Banking Summer Analyst Program

This position is a Temporary (10-week) internship designed for college students, specifically the Corporate Banking Summer Analyst Program.

Purpose of the Internship:
The Truist Internship aims to provide a working and immersion experience to sharpen students’ skills. Interns will focus on summer-long projects, working alongside other students and full-time, experienced teammates. The program serves as a direct pipeline to Truist’s full-time analyst programs upon graduation, with competitive Summer Analysts eligible for an offer for full-time positions.

Program Overview & Activities:
The Summer Analyst Program, running for approximately 10 weeks during the summer months, includes:
Activities: Networking socials, case studies, presentations, and team-building projects.
Executive Speaker Series: Opportunities to hear from senior leaders, including the CEO and Corporate Banking Senior Leaders.
Community Service: Participation in various volunteer initiatives is strongly encouraged.
Interaction: Opportunities to interact with other groups and disciplines throughout the investment bank.

Job Role and Responsibilities:
The Corporate Banking Summer Analyst program offers exposure to multiple disciplines within corporate banking. Interns will:
• Sharpen their financial analysis skills.
• Develop an understanding of corporate markets and clients.
• Gain experience in corporate finance and with corporate banking products through on-the-job training.
• Play a meaningful role in supporting internal and external clients within their assigned Corporate Banking group.
• Specific responsibilities for Corporate Banking analysts support their industry team and senior Corporate Bankers, involving tasks such as:
• Due diligence
• Document processing
• Financial modeling
• Statistical analysis
• Research
• Presentation development

Corporate Banking Focus:
The Corporate Banking team, operating under Truist Securities, provides coverage banking services to corporate clients. This includes corporate finance and specialized product services, categorized by industry vertical, with a primary focus on mid to large cap-sized private and public companies.

Location:
While Truist Securities has offices across the U.S., this specific role is for the Charlotte, NC office.

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:
Graduation: Final graduation with a BA/BS degree in December 2026 or June 2027.
Skills: Proven analytical ability and attention to detail, solid leadership and interpersonal skills, superior written and oral communication skills.
Work Environment: Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Language Fluency: English (Required).
Work Shift: 1st shift (United States of America).

Preferred Requirements:
Major: Business major.
GPA: Overall GPA of 3.0.
Interest: Strong interest in finance and investment banking.
Coursework: Prior completion of Accounting or Finance coursework.
Achievement: High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement.
Commitment: Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program.
