Job Description: Corporate Banking Summer Analyst Program
This document describes the Truist Internship program, specifically the Corporate Banking Summer Analyst Program.
Program Overview:
• Type: Temporary Internship (Serves as a pipeline to Truist full-time programs).
• Duration: Approximately 10 weeks, taking place during the summer months.
• Focus: Provides college students with a working and immersion experience to sharpen leadership, technical, and business skills. Interns will work on summer-long projects alongside other students and experienced full-time teammates.
• Key Activities:
• Networking socials, case studies, and presentations.
• Team-building projects.
• Executive Speaker Series featuring the CEO and Corporate Banking Senior Leaders.
• Community Service opportunities, with involvement strongly encouraged.
• Opportunity to interact with various groups and disciplines throughout the investment bank.
• Career Progression: Competitive Summer Analysts are eligible to receive a full-time offer for an Analyst program upon graduation.
• Location: Specifically for the Atlanta, GA office.
Role and Responsibilities:
The Corporate Banking Summer Analyst program offers interns the chance to gain exposure to multiple disciplines within corporate banking. Through on-the-job training, interns will:
• Sharpen their financial analysis skills.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of corporate markets and clients.
• Gain hands-on experience in corporate finance and with various corporate banking products.
• Play a meaningful role in supporting internal and external clients.
• Assignments will primarily be within the Corporate Banking groups, with opportunities for interaction across other bank groups and disciplines.
• Corporate Banking Team Specifics: Corporate Banking at Truist Securities serves mid to large-cap private and public corporate clients, categorized by industry vertical, offering coverage banking services, corporate finance, and specialized product services. Analysts within this group provide critical support to their specific industry team and senior Corporate Bankers. Their responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Due diligence.
• Document processing.
• Financial modeling.
• Statistical analysis.
• Research.
• Presentation development.
Minimum Requirements:
• Education: Final graduation with a BA/BS degree in December 2026 or June 2027.
• Skills:
• Proven analytical ability and strong attention to detail.
• Solid leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Superior written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Requirements:
• Academic Background: Business major.
• GPA: Overall GPA of 3.0.

• Coursework: Prior completion of Accounting or Finance coursework.
• Achievement: High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement.
• Commitment: Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program.
